A bit about Me
Born in Denton TX and Raised in Garland TX, my parents had me involved in music at the age of 4 as Mom was the childrens choir director at Church. At the age of 8 Dad took me to a jazz club where I instantly fell in love with live performance. On the ride home I told Dad I wanted to play the trumpet. He bought me a used one the next
Born in Denton TX and Raised in Garland TX, my parents had me involved in music at the age of 4 as Mom was the childrens choir director at Church. At the age of 8 Dad took me to a jazz club where I instantly fell in love with live performance. On the ride home I told Dad I wanted to play the trumpet. He bought me a used one the next day at a pawn shop and I ended up playing Trumpet all through Middle School & High School. I was singing in my first rock band (XLR8) by the age of 18. Over the next 2 years I recorded with XLR8 & FULL TILT. After mild success around the Dallas club scene I decided things weren't moving fast enough so I joined the Marine Corps (a bit drastic I know) at the age of 20. I served 6 years with combat in The Gulf War (Desert Storm Baby!!!). Upon completion of my 6 year Marine Corps contract I came back home to Dallas where I continued in the local music scene.
